That might mean a paid position or not. It might be voluntary or whatever.
Writing wise, my one resolution is to rewrite one of several manuscripts that I have started. I have several novels that I was working on through National Novel Writing Month. All of them need reworking.
I have several short stories that I could also re-write and send to publishers as well as some research articles that I have done. These could be sent to places like TECH TRENDS or other technology magazines.
I have several volunteer opportunities as well as my crafts. However, none of this is actually paying me anything.

Good luck with your goals. It looks like you have a lot of flexibility. I say do whatever makes you happy. :) Have a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a long time to begin to earn a living from my writing. I do now, but it's really a passion, and I would do it even for no monetary reward.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on Nanowrimo -- and best of luck on the rewrites. That's my favorite writing place to be.
Happy New Year!
Meg
BTW, I think you copied the icon but not the link, so it doesn't click back to the list. :(

I have yet to try NaNoWriMo but I can only imagine how much revision anything I produced that way would require! I hope the writing year ahead is a great one for you.
ReplyDeleteMeaningful work & writing wise - I love it! Good luck in 2013.
ReplyDeleteHi Sandie, Good luck with all your re-writing and with NaNoWriMo. I've never tried it, but it seems to spur on writers to produce, so it might be worth my giving it a try. Do stop by and visit my site: http://www.amemorabletimeofmylife.blogspot.com/
